This year, we are celebrating Lynn Wilson Jinks, III, on his 50th year of practicing law.

Lynn Jinks was born and raised in Bullock County, Alabama. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Alabama and clerked for Justice Samuel Coleman with the Alabama Supreme Court. From 1975 to 1978, he served in the U.S. Navy. Upon returning to his hometown, Union Springs, he continued his service to his community and raised his family with his devoted wife, Charlotte Vaughan Jinks.
Lynn has distinguished himself across the State of Alabama through a remarkable and dedicated legal career spanning five decades where he is known for his diligent adherence to the Alabama State Bar Code of Professional Conduct.
He has exemplified the principles of justice, fairness, and integrity through his tireless service to his clients with a focus on the Bullock County community. Throughout his impressive career, he has earned a stellar reputation among his peers, judges, and community members for his kindness, professionalism, courtesy to others, and unwavering commitment to the law.
Lynn’s focus has not been limited to his own legal career. He has also mentored other members of the Third Judicial Circuit Bar Association, contributing significantly to the legal profession's future generations. Lynn has continually demonstrated a commitment to the highest ethical standards, advocating zealously for his clients while maintaining the utmost respect for the legal system and its practitioners.
Lynn’s contributions extend beyond the courtroom. He has generously provided community service and legal education, thereby positively impacting society as a whole.
