Our Story
Lynn Jinks started the firm now known as Jinks Crow almost 50 years ago when he moved home to Union Springs after serving his country in the United States Navy. Lynn has been dedicated to serving his community through the practice of law in downtown Union Springs since returning home from the military. From his office next door to the Bullock County Courthouse, Lynn has watched the practice of law grow and change through the years and watched his practice change as well.
One change came over 30 years ago when Lynn met Christy Crow while she was working at Bullock County Hospital, one of his clients, during the summer between high school and college.
Christy worked with Lynn part-time through college, summers in law school, and came back to practice law in Union Springs in 1997. She became a partner in the firm in 1999 after Burt Smithart left the firm to become the presiding Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit Court of Alabama.
Since then, they have worked together on cases around the country, including one of the largest antitrust cases in history and trying cases throughout the State of Alabama. Christy attributes much of her success to the fundamentals she learned while practicing with Lynn. Lynn’s dedication to the law and his clients, his passion for the Courtroom and the community, along with his impact on the practice of law in Union Springs, Bullock County, and the state of Alabama, will forever shape the culture of Jinks Crow.
